Brazil stocks lower at close of trade; Bovespa down 1.31%

Investing.com – Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Electric Power , Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa declined 1.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Braskem SA (BVMF: BRKM5 ), which rose 6.02% or 0.56 points to trade at 9.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Vamos SA (BVMF: VAMO3 ) added 2.31% or 0.09 points to end at 3.99 and BRF SA (BVMF: BRFS3 ) was up 1.67% or 0.37 points to 22.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroreconcavo SA (BVMF: RECV3 ), which fell 5.36% or 0.79 points to trade at 13.94 at the close. Marfrig Alimentos SA (BVMF: MRFG3 ) declined 4.73% or 1.12 points to end at 22.56 and Cvc Brasil ON (BVMF: CVCB3 ) was down 4.51% or 0.11 points to 2.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 513 to 419 and 62 ended unchanged.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 1.82% to 25.86.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.14% or 4.55 to $3,321.45 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $68.28 a barrel, while the September US coffee C contract fell 0.28% or 0.80 to trade at $284.80 .
USD/BRL was up 2.59% to 5.59, while EUR/BRL rose 2.42% to 6.54.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 97.22.
