Iraq's Rumaila field oil output still down after last week's fire

The oil production at Iraq's Rumaila field continues to be reduced by 300,000 barrels per day following a fire incident last week. This information was confirmed by an official source.

Mohammed Al-Najjar, Iraq's national representative to OPEC, stated that the timeline for full recovery remains uncertain. Last week, the Oil Ministry reported that it had managed to put out the fire a few hours after it started at tank No. 2 in the DS5 station, located in North Rumaila. Despite the quick response, the oil output at the field is yet to return to its normal levels.
